Job Description
Quick Offer – RN Emergency Room – Norwich, NY StaffHC INC Norwich, NY 13815 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with best practices and hospital protocols. Our facility is a Level II Trauma Center, ensuring that you will be part of a dynamic and challenging work environment. Responsibilities Assess and triage patients presenting to the Emergency Room based on severity of condition. Perform specimen collection processing and maintain accurate medical records. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Conduct procedures such as spinal taps and assist with dialysis when necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Utilize aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent infection. Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in their condition promptly. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
Skills & Required Documents:
Two (2) years of recent RN Emergency Room Experience required.
BLS, ACLS
