Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Travel IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) RN for a 23-week assignment in Plattsburgh, NY. Responsibilities:

Provide specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments, including those with cardiac, respiratory, and neurological conditions. Monitor and manage patients on advanced life support equipment such as ventilators, BiPAP, and IV drips. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications, perform treatments, and document patient care accurately using the hospital’s EMR system. Educate patients and families about disease management and post-discharge care.

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of New York. Minimum of 2 years of recent IMCU or Stepdown experience. BLS and ACLS certifications. Proficiency in handling critical care equipment and monitoring vital signs. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
