Travel Med Surg/ Tele RN position in Plattsburgh, NY 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Plattsburgh, NY 12901 Minimum 1+ years nursing experience required. Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Plattsburgh, NY, for a 15-week contract position. As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients in our medical-surgical unit. Experience inMedical/Surgical Telemetry is required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recent, related experience as a Medical Surgical RN Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications Prior travel experience as a Registered Nurse to substitute Strong knowledge and experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry Experience using Epic electronic medical records within the past year
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses to interventions Monitor patients’ conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and overall well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care practices Document all patient care activities accurately and maintain detailed medical records
