Salary Range:

$72,072.00 -$74,229.26 The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates,plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assignedpatients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progresstoward discharge, including during transitions within the acutecare stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for thedelivery and coordination of patient care provided by thecaregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate patientcare is uniformly provided to customers including referringfacilities, hospital staff and patients in the inpatient,ambulatory, and community settings.

• Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions.
• Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered.
• Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provides primaryand emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuriesand illnesses.
• Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered.
• Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients.
• Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
