$78,773.63 – $122,099.12 TheEducation Specialist is responsible for leading in the design anddevelopment of systems that support staff involvement in practice,research, education, and quality decisions; promoting acollaborative environment where nurses practice at the highestlevel of licensure. This position is responsible for participatingin the design, development and implementation of orientation andcontinuing education programs for individuals and groups within thenursing organization. The educational outcomes of programming areevaluated and linked to the quality process and patient careoutcomes. The Education Specialist is responsible for leading inthe design and development of systems that support staffinvolvement in practice, research, education, and qualitydecisions; promoting a collaborative environment where nursespractice at the highest level of licensure. This position isresponsible for participating in the design, development andimplementation of orientation and continuing education programs forindividuals and groups within the nursing organization. Theeducational outcomes of programming are evaluated and linked to thequality process and patient care outcomes. Collaborates withHospital based clinical leaders and educators to promotecompetency, ongoing learning, high quality, safe patient care.
Qualifications:
BSN Required, MSN/DNP strongly preferred Recentacute care experience required Recent Emergency Department orCritical Care experience strongly preferred BLS Certificationrequired ACLS and PALS Certification strongly preferred PreviousAHA or ENA Instructor credentials strongly preferred.
