$0.00 – $0.00Seeking a per diem Neonatal ICU RN. Must have at least 1 year levelIV NICU experience to apply.
- Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions.
- Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered .
- Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions .
- Provides primaryand emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuriesand illnesses.
- Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered.
- Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a professional academicnursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree orBaccalaureate Degree is conferred
- Must hold current NYSRegistered Nurse license
- Obtains and maintains certification inBasic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational andtime-management skills
- Possesses knowledge of quality concepts,principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques anddemonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental andpatient care quality improvement.
