Unit Description:

The Alice Center’s Skilled Nursing Facility offers 24-hour nursing services and a full range of rehabilitation services in a caring, home-like environment. The Alice Center can serve up to 135 individuals in need of long-term or short-term care. We provide the highest quality skilled nursing care in an environment that promotes privacy and dignity. The Alice Center is divided into six separate “neighborhoods” that each feature their own home-like kitchens and dining rooms, large living rooms, and ample social spaces. Each resident room is either private or semi-private and contains a private bathroom and shower. Candidates for this per diem position must agree to maintain the requirements of per diem staff at

The Alice Center:

Work a minimum of (2

• 8-hour shifts per pay period and (2
• 8-hour weekend shifts per month (included in the 16-hours per pay period).

With a maximum of 400 hours in a six-month period. Hours worked to cover for staff out of work for sickness or disability are not included in this total, nor are hours worked to cover shifts for other staff that are already schedule.

Weekend hours start at 10PM on Friday and continue until 6AM on Monday
Work at least (1) 8-hour shift per year on a Minor holiday (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day)
Work at least (1) 8-hour shift per year on a Major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Years Day)
If a per diem Nursing Staff employee calls in on the weekend, they will be required to make it up within 1 month.
Maintain mandatory education requirements within a three month timeframe.
Maintain BLS, a requirement for this position.

$3.00 Evening Shift differential, $3.50 Night Shift differential, $0.20 per hour for BSN, $0.25 per hour for MSN.

Requirements:

Current RN licensure recognized by the State of York required.
Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
