Salary Range:
$76,396.32 – $126,730.61The clinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionateand caring environment for patients, families and colleaguesthrough displays of kindness and active listening. Recognizes andappreciates that each employee’s work is valuable and contributesto the success of the Mission. Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered. Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions. Provides primary andemergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries andillnesses. Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients. Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which aDiploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred Musthold current NYS Registered Nurse license Obtains and maintainscertification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac LifeSupport (ACLS) Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RNexperience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care Excellent communication,prioritization, organizational and time-management skills Possessesknowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solvingtools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in supportof departmental and patient care quality improvement.
