$0.00 – $0.00 The Registered Professional Nurse assesses,coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs ofassigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus onprogress toward discharge, including during transitions within theacute care stay. The Registered Professional Nurse is responsiblefor the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by thecaregiving team. S/he assures that competent, compassionate patientcare is uniformly provided to customers including referringfacilities, hospital staff and patients in the inpatient,ambulatory, and community settings. Registered Professional Nursesthat participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway(NPAP) must progress from novice to competent within a specialty.
Nurses are eligible to apply for advancement to proficient orexpert status as outlined in the NPAP.
