Salary Range:

$68,640.00 – $70,699.20 Seeking a fulltime (36 hours/week/days) RN for the Neonatal ICU. 3 x 12 hourshifts/week. Weekend and Holiday rotation required.

• Implementsphysician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performstreatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment asrequired by company policy and local/state/federal rules andregulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic teststo identify and assess patients’ conditions.
• Assesses andevaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered .
• Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provides primary and emergency care for occupational andnon-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administersover-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
• Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for allpatients.
• Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintainstandards of professional nursing. Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which aDiploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred
• Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Obtains andmaintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and NeonatalResuscitation Program (NRP)
• Excellent communication,prioritization, organizational and time-management skills
• Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, andproblem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability toapply in support of departmental and patient care qualityimprovement.
