Salary Range:

$74,484.00 – $122,907.00The clinical support nurse (CSN) assumes a leadership role byproviding on-site expert consultation to Patient Care ServicesStaff in the Children’s Hospital. The CSN teaches and supportsstaff to learn patient care skills that may require additionaleducation or training that are not easily met by unit specificopportunities. The CSN also has direct patient careresponsibilities.

Hourly Range:

$35.81 – 59.09 Demonstrate advancedknowledge and skills required to specialty nursing Manage complexpatient and system related issues Assist staff develop clinicalskills and problem solve in complex patient care situations Teachand support staff to initiate access and manage intravasculartherapy Provide direct care in selected complex patient caresituations Communicate effectively to reach consensual decisionswith the care team in the best interest of the patient

Education/Experience:

Current NYS Nursing license; BSN preferredPediatric/Critical Care certification preferred Minimum 3 years ofrecent acute care clinical experience in Pediatrics Thank you foryour interest in Albany Medical Center!?
