The Crox Group is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg fora local contract nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilizes the nursingprocess and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members incaring for patients. Administers prescribed medications andtreatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policiesand procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act.

Documents according to standards of care. Develops, initiates, andexecutes a patient plan of care according to the individualizedneeds of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospitalpolicy including patient and family instruction. Participates indepartment or unit performance improvement activities, may includeshared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to otherunits/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan ofcare. Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patient safety andpatient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriatechain of command. The Crox Group Job
