The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, effective communication, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions. Assist the surgical team during operations by providing necessary instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment. Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during surgery, promptly reporting any changes to the surgical team. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide post-operative care, including pain management and education on recovery processes. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Stay updated on best practices in trauma medicine, acute pain management, and medical imaging. Skills Candidates should possess the following skills: Proficiency in acute pain management techniques. Knowledge of medical imaging processes. Familiarity with maintaining accurate medical records. law as it relates to patient care. Experience in trauma medicine and emergency response. Competence in IV infusion practices. Background in geriatrics and assisted living environments. Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively. #IND1
