TravelA facility in Oneida, NY is currently seeking a RN to care forresidents on the Vent Unit at their Rehabilitation and ExtendedCare Facility.

Requirements:

• Must have NYS License.
• Must have 2years experience.
• BLS Required.

Responsibilities:

1. The workinvolves the routine care of residents in accordance with adetailed and well-defined resident care plan required as a stafflevel Registered Nurse and under the direct supervision of theRegistered Nurse (UM or Nursing Supervisor) and Physician. 2. TheRN vent nurse involves being responsible for coordinatingindividual resident care and performing nursing services requiringspecialized judgement and skills in the care of the ventilatorresident. 3. Provides direct nursing care to residents and overseesthe day-to-day nursing activities performed by the CNAs and WardClerks on the unit. 4. Provides care and services to residentswithin the scope of license such as medication pass, treatmentsproficient documentation and recording resident care on the careplan, MAR and TAR. 5. This RN must have the ability to makeindependent decisions when circumstances warrant such action butalso understands must be in constant communication with the RN(UM/Supervisor) with updates throughout the shift.
