RN•ER•Local Contract 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Oneida, NY WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Oneida NY.
Job Function :
Night Shift. 3×12: 7pm•7:30am. Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients facing life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessments and high-intensity interventions. Provide emotional support, education, and comfort to patients and their families during emergency room visits. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and independently identify the need for early intervention. Perform critical procedures including IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, and blood draws.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license in the state of New York. 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience is required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required. Travel nursing experience preferred.
