SUMMARY:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’re the engine and theheart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. You make apositive difference every single day in the lives of our patients,their family members and visitors

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patient Care & Service. Promote and restorepatients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaboratingwith physicians and multidisciplinary team members; performingvarious treatment procedures; providing physical, educational andemotional support to patients, friends and families; supervisingassigned team members
• Planning & Communication. Develop anddocument individualized care plans customized for each patient’sunique needs, with support from the interdisciplinary health teamas needed; maintain effective communication to convey patienthealth status, treatment plans and progress
• Electronic HealthRecord (EHR) Management. Demonstrate proficient use of an EHR
• including accurate patient and provider documentation andcommunication
• Compliance.

Adhere to required department andsystem protocols, regulations (local, state, federal) and educationrequirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Compassionate, warm andpatient focused
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment andthe ability to work with minimal supervision
• Exceptionaldocumentation skills and professional behavior
• Ability to work ina fast-paced environment
• Registered Nurse license in New YorkState
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Diploma orAssociate’s Degree in Nursing required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
