Job Description:
RN needed for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry float unit Normal ratios: Days/Evenings 5:1, Nights 6:1 (occasional stretch to 7:1) Support staff includes PCTs for vitals, glucose checks, EKGs, and ADLs In-house phlebotomy team handles peripheral draws; RNs manage PICC and central lines Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele experience required Telemetry experience required Epic EMR experience strongly preferred; Epic required for first-time U.S. travelers
Certifications:
BLS required
Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend No on-call required Must be willing to float within scope to similar units as needed 36 hours/week guaranteed
Additional Info:
No local candidates within a 75-mile radius Pending licenses not accepted Request Time Off (RTO) should be limited to approximately one week Facility allows any navy/white scrub color combination Teaching hospital; short-term acute care setting
