SUMMARY:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’re the engineand the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. Youmake a positive difference every single day in the lives of ourpatients, their family members and visitors

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides high-quality,patient-centered, clinical care Performs initial and ongoingassessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data (i.e.physical, psychological, educational and risk-screen dataappropriate for the chronological / developmental age of thepatient). Communicates and documents assessment of patient with theinterdisciplinary team. Utilizes all available resources in orderto meet the needs of the patient and family. Develops and documentsplan of care, treatment and services which is individualized andappropriate for the patient needs, strengths, limitations andgoals. Complies with organizational policies, procedures andprotocols including policies governing safety, medicationadministration and documentation. Revises plan of care based onongoing evaluations and updates documentation appropriately.
Completes at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form forsubmission to Nursing Research Department utilizing a researcharticle from the last 5 years from research performed in the UnitedStates. Compliance Completes a minimum of 5 nationally approvedcontact hours (CNE or CEU) per year. Completes mandatoryin-services and health screens in timely manner. Maintains BasicLife Support (BLS) certification.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Diplomaor Associate’s Degree in Nursing Registered Nurse license in NewYork State. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
