Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN OR ) to join our dynamic surgical team. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment, and collaborating closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic, neuro, robotic, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and instruments for scheduled procedures in orthopedic, neuro, robotic, thoracic, and vascular specialties. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgery. Assist surgical teams by handling instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and managing equipment. Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during procedures. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and nursing interventions. Adhere to infection control standards and regulatory compliance Support and advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process. Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development.
