AMC PCCU
(D3N) is a 17 bed mixedmedical and surgical adult ICU that provides specializedProgressive care to our community. Nurses with med/surg, PCU, orcommunity hospital ICU experience will find this fast paced, highlycollaborative, diverse environment stimulating and rewarding.
Critical thinking, multitasking, and care coordination are keycomponents of managing this high acuity population successfully.
High caliber, high performing new graduate RNs interested inCritical Care will find this environment challenging and extremelydiverse in the exposure one would gain during their initial 24months as an RN. You will be supported by a highly collaborativeleadership team. You will be held accountable for, and supportedin, ownership of your growth professional by partaking in thenumerous educational and shared governance experiences that aremade available to our team.
Hourly Range:
$36.73 – $60.93
MinimumQualifications:
- Graduate of a professional academic nursingprogram in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or BaccalaureateDegree is conferred
- Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Excellent communication,prioritization, organizational and time-management skills. Abilityto multitask physically and mentally.
- Possesses knowledge ofquality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools andtechniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support ofdepartmental and patient care quality improvement Thank you foryour interest in Albany Medical Center!
