RN•Med Surg•Local Contract 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Amsterdam, NY WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Amsterdam, NY.
Job Function :
Day Shift. 3×12: 7am•7:30pm. Administer prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, or IV routes and document accordingly. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting and recording data as needed. Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative care. Record medical histories, vital signs, and report adverse reactions per clinical protocols.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York. 2 years of acute care experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) setting. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
