PM Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our cardiology team, specializing in cardiac stress testing. The RN will assist with the preparation, monitoring, and documentation of exercise and pharmacologic stress tests, ensuring patient safety and accurate results in accordance with established clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients physically and emotionally for stress testing procedures. Conduct and assist with exercise and pharmacologic stress tests under physician supervision. Monitor and record vital signs (BP, HR, ECG) before, during, and after stress testing. Recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of cardiac distress or emergencies. Administer medications related to stress testing (e.g., Lexiscan, Dobutamine) as ordered. Operate and troubleshoot cardiac monitoring and stress test equipment (treadmills, ECG monitors, etc.). Educate patients about procedures, medications, and post-test care. Ensure accurate documentation in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and compliance with HIPAA standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe testing environment. Collaborate closely with cardiologists, medical assistants, and technicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
