PER DIEM HOME CARE NURSE FOR SMALL PRIVATE PAY AGENCY

Our agency is relatively small with a 40 client caseload that only accepts private pay. Position is to do assessments, reassessments, start of care in the field on Nassau County, Most clients are located on the North Shore. This is a 1099 position. Paying $95 for aide supervision, $125 per assessment or reassessment, and $225 for start or care including aide supervision, you can make your own hours as long as the assessments are completed on time. Job Summary The RN is a NYS licensed Registered Professional Nurse whose job is to provide supervision and coordination of the daily home health activities of the licensed Agency, to include coordination of the direct care caseload, supervision of field professional and paraprofessional staff, and supervision of in-house staff and routine daily activities of Agency personnel as they apply to client services. The RN is responsible to see that the Agency functions within the regulations of the NYSDOH, the JCAHO and any other regulatory Agency that may oversee activity in the Home Care industry. Qualifications and Skills Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse. One year experience as a professional nurse with administrative/supervisory experience, or completion of a degree in nursing, or a related field; or completion of a master’s degree program in administrative, or a related field, or Public Health nursing certification. It is preferred that the applicant also have two years experience in a home care setting, either as a field nurse or as a nurse coordinator.
