RN-Admissions Position Available In Nassau, New York

Overview Good Shepherd Hospice Community Admissions Hospice RN is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control. The quality of care provided will be consistent with the Standards of Practice determined for the hospice program. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred. 4 x 10 hour shifts 8:30 AM to 6:30

PM Job Details Qualifications:

Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license Graduate from a NLN-accredited nursing program with a BSN preferred Minimum of one year of recent hands on nursing experience with good clinical skills Active Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) Current, valid NY State driver’s license and own transportation. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
