Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled andexperienced RN

• Nurse Educator to support the Nursing InserviceEducation Department.

The ideal candidate will bring a solidclinical background and a strong foundation in med/surg nursing toassist with staff development and training. This role is beingoffered to cover a temporary leave of absence.

Roles andResponsibilities:

• Facilitate and conduct clinical educationsessions for nursing staff
• Support onboarding and continuingeducation of nurses
• Collaborate with clinical leadership toassess training needs
• Assist in developing competency-basededucation programs
• Monitor, evaluate, and document clinicalskills performance

Skills:

• 2 years of medical-surgical (med/surg)nursing experience
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to teachhands-on nursing techniques
• Excellent communication andpresentation skills
• Ability to assess learning needs and adjustteaching methods accordingly

Requirements:

• Active andunrestricted New York State RN License (Primary Source Verificationrequired)
• Current AHA BLS certification
