Requirements:

Two years of the following experience is required: Maternal and child experience, IV Insertion, and phlebotomy skill, Conscious sedation Current

AHA BLS, AHA PALS

New York State RN License Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, ensuring their safety and comfort. Perform patient assessments, including IV insertion and phlebotomy, while adhering to established protocols. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including tube feeding and airway management. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems and communicate effectively with families regarding care and progress.
