Purpose of the

Position:

Responsible for the delivery of directpatient care using the nursing process and as defined by thehealthcare facility in their unit specific job description.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an RN program
• Previous work experienceas an RN
• Current unrestricted RN license in the state

Workplaceconditions:

• Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching
• May requirelifting to 80 pounds (using proper techniques)
• May requirestanding and walking 2-5 hours at a time
• May have exposure tochemicals, radiation, infectious diseases/waste and/or blood bornepathogens
