Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel ER RN to join a dynamic team at a hospital in Syracuse, NY! This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to utilize your critical thinking and assessment skills while providing exceptional care to patients in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities:

Assess patients presenting to the emergency room, triage patients based on acuity, and prioritize care accordingly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and safety guidelines. Float between pediatric and general emergency units as needed. Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, including but not limited to EKGs, wound care, and IV placement. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Accurately document patient care using EPIC or other EMR systems.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in the state of New York. Minimum of 2years of recent experience working as an

ER RN. BLS

(Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts.
