Weeks Schedule:
Nights (7:00p-7:30a) Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Med Surg Oncology RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with oncology experience who thrive in high-acuity environments and are ready to make a meaningful impact at a respected facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care to oncology patients on a med/surg unit Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery Adapt to a busy unit within a Level 1 or 2 trauma setting Follow a rotating schedule with every other weekend and 2 of 3 major seasonal holidays
Preferred Experience:
Level 1 or 2 trauma hospital experience Epic EMR proficiency Strong IV and telemetry skills Confident and compassionate approach to oncology patient care
Required Qualifications:
Active New York State RN license BLS certification (current or eligible for renewal) Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and complexity
