Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a leading ambulatory care team in Syracuse, NY. This role offers a consistent day shift schedule and the opportunity to support patients in a dynamic outpatient environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in clinical care, patient education, and interprofessional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in alignment with clinical standards and protocols Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, triage, administer medications, and coordinate care plans Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to support optimal patient outcomes Accurately document clinical activities and patient interactions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Educate patients and families on care plans, medication regimens, procedures, and self-management techniques Promote a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
Qualifications:
Current New York State RN license (unencumbered) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required ACLS certification preferred Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience, ideally in ambulatory, outpatient, or acute care Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems required (EPIC strongly preferred) Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care
