Position Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs to join a high-acuity clinical team in Syracuse, NY. This night shift position supports a Level 1 Trauma Center and involves floating between the Adult ED, Pediatric ED, and cross-campus acute emergency departments as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with both adult and pediatric populations, demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, and thrive in a fast-paced trauma setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care in the Adult Emergency Department Float to Pediatric ED and cross-campus EDs as required Perform thorough assessments, interventions, and evaluations with minimal supervision Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care Document care using EPIC Electronic Medical Records (preferred) Work every other weekend and select holidays as part of a rotating schedule

Minimum Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of New York BLS certification (must be current and renewable) Minimum 1.5 years of recent emergency department experience in an acute care setting (within the past 2 years) Experience treating both adult and pediatric patient populations Ability to adapt quickly to high-acuity environments and float across departments

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center Proficiency in

EPIC EMR

system
