REQUIREMENTS

NY RN license,

BLS Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the ICU setting Perform in-depth patient assessments and respond swiftly to changing conditions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and execute care plans Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and manage life-support equipment Maintain strict adherence to infection control and hospital safety protocols Work every other weekend and some holidays as scheduled Document care accurately using electronic medical record systems (EPIC preferred)

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of recent Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience within the past 2 years Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center

• Highly Desired Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records
• Preferred Current New York State RN License
• Required BLS Certification
• Required Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
