Please call or text Ashley at 402-522-6387 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on providing exceptional care to our most vulnerable patients. As an RN in the NICU, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the health of premature and critically ill infants, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established standards of care. Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection processing as needed for diagnostic testing. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for each infant. Educate parents and families on infant care, health conditions, and treatment plans while providing emotional support during challenging times. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and standards. Participate in critical care transport when necessary, ensuring safe transfer of patients between facilities. Uphold high standards of hygiene and infection control within the NICU environment. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Previous experience in an ICU or NICU setting preferred; critical care transport experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of physiology and neonatal health issues. Familiarity with medical office procedures and standards related to patient care. Ability to perform dermal fillers is considered an asset but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
