Job Summary:

The Emergency Department RN delivers compassionate,high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. Responsible for rapidassessment, triage, and implementation of emergency interventionsfor patients of all ages. The role requires skilled use of invasiveand non-invasive procedures, clear communication withpatients/families, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teamsto ensure optimal outcomes. The nurse educates and preparespatients for ongoing care, promotes a healing environment, andensures safety, comfort, and trust throughout the emergency visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform triage and prioritize care peremergency protocols
• Conduct primary and secondary assessments anddocument findings
• Deliver therapeutic interventions for routineand life-threatening conditions
• Educate patients and families ondiagnostics, treatment, and discharge plans
• Communicateeffectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliancewith infection prevention and patient safety guidelines
• Providetrauma-informed, culturally sensitive care to diverse populations
