Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consulting Nurse to lead the clinical development and implementation of a new Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and Wound Care Program. The Consulting Nurse will serve as a subject matter expert, working collaboratively with administrative and clinical to ensure successful launch and compliance with clinical, regulatory, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop clinical workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and evidence-based treatment protocols. Define staffing needs and competencies required for HBOT and wound care services. Develop and deliver staff training on HBOT safety, wound care protocols, infection control, and documentation requirements. Mentor nursing and technical staff on best practices in hyperbaric and wound management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, technicians, and administrative staff. Advise on selection and procurement of equipment and supplies relevant to HBOT and wound care.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) with an active and unrestricted license. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound care; experience in hyperbaric medicine strongly preferred. Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or equivalent credential preferred. Prior experience in program development or clinic startup strongly desired. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
