Mill Nurse West Point, VA 12 Months LPN or RN would be idealcandidate. COHC certification is not required. The nurse sresponsibilities would be a new employee intake and schedulingcoordinating. We have pre-employment physicals that they would helpfacilitate with the doctor on site on Fridays. Scheduling andcoordinating those physicals as well. Responsible for schedulingtheir physicals, their respiratory tests and a number. Assistingwith FMLA and, short term disability. 1st 90 days, all newemployees get a hearing evaluation and then annually thereafter.

They should at least have their licensed practical nursing. Mondaythrough Friday 7 to 4 PM and On-call availability. 2 rounds ofinterview: 30Min Phone Screening On-site interview.

Responsibilities:

Provide care for work-related injuries andillnesses. Conduct annual employee Wellness Screenings. MaintainSafety Data Sheets (SDS) for the mill. Perform annual audiogramsfor all employees (COHC certification required). Assist SafetyManager in the management of OSHA logs for Workers Comp. cases.

Administer allergy medications and vaccination shots (Covid, flu,tetanus, etc.). Manage inventory of medical/safety supplies.

Conduct New Hire and Incident Response Team Physicals. Maintainemployee medical files. Conduct drug screenings (random, new hires,suspicion, property damage, return to work, etc.). Assist employeeswith Wellness initiatives (weight loss, blood pressure, etc.).Assist with benefits questions. Monitor FMLA/STD and assistemployees with paperwork. Serve as a gatekeeper of health services,rehabilitation, return-to-work, and case management. Furnishappropriate staff guidance, research, and interpret medicaldocuments. Coordinate with the Company s Worker Compensation ThirdParty Administrator (TPA) and file necessary Worker Compensationclaims. Advise and support management with medical and workerscompensation issues. Order pharmaceutical and/or medical supplies.

Maintain the medical product inventory and monitor medicationexpiration dates. Perform administrative duties and other tasks asassigned by mill HR and Safety Managers.

Educational Requirements:

Licensed Practicing Nurse with experience in emergency, industrial,or related medical services. Ability to apply medical knowledge toaddress mill-related exposures. Working knowledge of state andfederal laws and regulations (e.g., worker s compensation, OSHA,ADA, Hazard communications). Effective communication and computerskills.otor vehicles. 3-5 years of experience.
