BLS-AHA Dialysis NurseResponsibilities:

• Checking and recording patients’ vitals before,during, and after dialysis treatment.
• Ensuring that hemodialysisand peritoneal dialysis treatments are administered to patientscorrectly.
• Monitoring patients during dialysis treatment toidentify any adverse reactions.
• Preparing and updating nursingcare plans.
• Promptly notifying the appropriate medicalpractitioner of any problems that occur during dialysis treatments
• Working with the dialysis technicians to ensure that dialysismachines and equipment are set up correctly.
