$76,396.32 – $126,730.61The Clinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionateand caring environment for patients, families and colleaguesthrough displays of kindness and active listening. - Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions.
- Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered.
- Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provides primaryand emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuriesand illnesses.
- Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered.
- Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which aDiploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred
- Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Obtains andmaintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and AdvancedCardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of previousclinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
- Excellentcommunication, prioritization, organizational and time-managementskills
- Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, andproblem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability toapply in support of departmental and patient care qualityimprovement.
