Salary Range:

• Implementsphysician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performstreatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment asrequired by company policy and local/state/federal rules andregulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic teststo identify and assess patients’ conditions.
• Assesses andevaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
• Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care managementdecisions.
• Provides primary and emergency care for occupationaland non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administersover-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
• Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for allpatients.
• Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintainstandards of professional nursing.
• Graduate of a professionalacademic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree orBaccalaureate Degree is conferred
• Must hold current NYSRegistered Nurse license
• Obtains and maintains certification inBasic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surgor Progressive Care
• Excellent communication, prioritization,organizational and time-management skills
• Possesses knowledge ofquality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools andtechniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support ofdepartmental and patient care quality improvement.
