Hourly Range:
$34.65 – $35.69 The clinical Nurse contributes to thecreation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients,families and colleagues through displays of kindness and activelistening. - Implementsphysician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performstreatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment asrequired by company policy and local/state/federal rules andregulations.
- Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, andresponses to, care rendered.
- Applies sound nursing judgment inpatient care management decisions.
- Provides primary and emergencycare for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications asordered.
- Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan ofCare for all patients.
- Directs and guides ancillary personnel andmaintain standards of professional nursing.
Minimum QualificationsGraduate of a professional academic nursing program in which aDiploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree NYS RegisteredNurse license Obtains and maintains certification in Basic LifeSupport (BLS) Excellent communication, prioritization,organizational and time-management skills Possesses knowledge ofquality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools andtechniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support ofdepartmental and patient care quality improvement.
