Salary Range:

$76,396.32 – $126,730.61 Theclinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionate andcaring environment for patients, families and colleagues throughdisplays of kindness and active listening. Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered . Applies sound nur singjudgment in patient care management decisions. Provides primary andemergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries andillnesses. Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered. Collaborates with the nur sing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients. Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a professional academicnur sing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree orBaccalaureate Degree is conferred Must hold current NYS RegisteredNur se license Obtains and maintains certification in Basic LifeSupport (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Minimum of1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg orProgressive Care Excellent communication, prioritization,organizational and time-management skills Possesses knowledge ofquality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools andtechniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support ofdepartmental and patient care quality improvement.
