$76,396.32 – $126,730.61The clinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionateand caring environment for patients, families and colleaguesthrough displays of kindness and active listening. JobDescription Implements physician orders, administers medications,starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures and special tests, anddocument treatment as required by company policy andlocal/state/federal rules and regulations. Orders, interprets, andevaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responsesto, care rendered. Applies sound nursing judgment in patient caremanagement decisions. Provides primary and emergency care foroccupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications asordered. Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan ofCare for all patients. Directs and guides ancillary personnel andmaintain standards of professional nursing. Minimum QualificationsGraduate of a professional academic nursing program in which aDiploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred Musthold current NYS Registered Nurse license Obtains and maintainscertification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac LifeSupport (ACLS) Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RNexperience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care Excellent communication,prioritization, organizational and time-management skills Possessesknowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solvingtools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in supportof departmental and patient care quality improvement.
