Salary Range:

$68,640.00 – $70,699.20 The clinical Nursecontributes to the creation of a compassionate and caringenvironment for patients, families and colleagues through displaysof kindness and active listening. Job Description Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered. Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions. Provides primary andemergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries andillnesses. Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients. Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a professional academic nursingprogram in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or BaccalaureateDegree is conferred Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse licenseObtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) andAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Minimum of 1-3 years ofprevious clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive CareExcellent communication, prioritization, organizational andtime-management skills Possesses knowledge of quality concepts,principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques anddemonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental andpatient care quality improvement.
