Job Description:

Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs,performs treatments, procedures and special tests, and documenttreatment as required by company policy and local/state/federalrules and regulations. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostictests to identify and assess patients’ conditions. Assesses andevaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.

Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care managementdecisions. Provides primary and emergency care for occupational andnon-occupational injuries and illnesses. Administersover-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.

Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for allpatients. Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintainstandards of professional nursing.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of aprofessional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, AssociateDegree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred Must hold current NYSRegistered Nurse license Obtains and maintains certification inBasic Life Support (BLS). Excellent communication, prioritization,organizational and time-management skills Possesses knowledge ofquality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools andtechniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support ofdepartmental and patient care quality improvement.

Salary Range:
