$34.65•$35.69 The Clinical Nurse contributes to thecreation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients,families and colleagues through displays of kindness and activelistening. Recognizes and appreciates that each employee’s work isvaluable and contributes to the success of the Mission. Implementsphysician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performstreatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment asrequired by company policy and local/state/federal rules andregulations. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests toidentify and assess patients’ conditions. Assesses and evaluatespatient needs for, and responses to, care rendered. Applies soundnursing judgment in patient care management decisions. Providesprimary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupationalinjuries and illnesses. Administers over-the-counter andprescription medications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursingteam to create a Plan of Care for all patients. Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a professional academic nursingprogram in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or BaccalaureateDegree is conferred Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse licenseThank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!?
