$76,396.32 – $126,730.61 TheClinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionate andcaring environment for patients, families and colleagues throughdisplays of kindness and active listening. Essential Duties & Responsibilitiesinclude but not limited to: Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered. Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions. Provides primary andemergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries andillnesses. Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients. Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a professional academic nursingprogram in which a Diploma, Associate Degree or BaccalaureateDegree is conferred. Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse licenseObtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS),Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced LifeSupport (PALS) Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience isrequired Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry or ICU experience isrequired Ability to improve job performance through continuingeducation. Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, andproblem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability toapply in support of departmental and patient care qualityimprovement.
