Long-Term Care Responsibilities:

Performing clinical assessments for acute illness or change in status Providing chronic and emergency medical care Ordering and ensuring proper medication administration Assisting Employee Health with staff care needs Reviewing abnormal lab results and determining treatment plans Coordinating hospital transfers and communicating with external providers Completing thorough documentation in the electronic medical record Conducting patient rounds and providing shift hand-offs Supporting and educating nursing staff Interfacing with families, providers, and administrators

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience working with the Pediatric population BSN and MSN Graduate of an accredited RN program Board Certification NYS licensed Registered Nurse (RN) & Nurse Practitioner (NP) BCLS certification DEA certification Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care Strong assessment and documentation skills
