JobDescription:

As a Behavioral Health RN, you’ll care for patientswith psychiatric conditions, emotional disorders, and substanceabuse challenges. You’ll assess mental health needs, implementindividualized care plans, and support patient safety in a secure,therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor,and document patient mental health status and behaviors
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects or reactions
• Implement therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinarycare teams
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses,medications, and coping strategies
• Maintain a safe environment inaccordance with facility policies and state regulations

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLScertification required; CPI or PMAB certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursingexperience
• Strong communication, observation, and crisismanagement skills
