The Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)delivers high-quality patient care through teamwork and the nursingprocess, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation,and evaluation. This role ensures patient safety by adhering topolicies and procedures and provides pain management and comfortmeasures. The RN collaborates with other departments, mobilizesresources in complex cases, and supports patients and families withinformation and coping mechanisms. The nurse anticipates patientneeds, ensures effective communication, and proactively resolvesissues related to patient education and dischargeplanning.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality care through teamworkusing the nursing process.
• Ensure patient safety by followingpolicies and procedures.
• Provide support for pain management andcomfort measures.
• Follow up on interventions by otherdepartments.
• Mobilize resources in complex cases for patientrecovery.
• Provide information and coping mechanisms to patientsand families.
• Assess patient information needs and communicateeffectively.
• Formulate and document effective discharge plans.
• Anticipate age-specific healthcare needs and patient needs.
