Flexible Shifts:
Choose from 2 12-hour shifts per week, available between 7 AM-7 PM or 7 PM-7 AM.

Support the growth and development of nursing students and new staff members.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience for the Sr Professional Staff Nurse title. Willing to upgrade the title to Sr Professional Staff Nurse II (Starting at $40.47/hr), or Professional Staff Nurse, Expert (Starting at $45.00/hr). Nurses with BSNs will have the $1.75 differential added into their pay.
BSN preferred.
Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families.
Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handling multiple and changing priorities and specialized equipment.
Strong clinical judgment with critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities related to various aspects of patient care.
Critical thinking skills necessary to exercise and lead others in the application of the nursing process.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
UPMC-approved national certification is preferred. NIH Certification required after hire
CPR certification based on AHA standards, including both a didactic and skills demonstration component, within 30 days of hire.
